"I chose Pythagoras for the European Heroes challenge.
Pythagoras (570–490 BC) was an ancient Greek philosopher who believed the soul was immortal and went through a series of reincarnations. He is considered one of the first philosophers. He believed moral principles and numerical relationships provided the structure of the cosmos. Our understanding of life, love, music, and modern politics can be explained through the study of numbers, shapes, and symbols.
To honour Pythagoras, I created a video game focused on the tetractys (a mystical triangular symbol devised by Pythagoras). The game can be played in the browser or downloaded. It’s a two player strategy game in which players compete to capture nodes, triangles, or lines to earn the most points."
